Little storytime: I found this song when I was 12 years old and I was going through a really hard depression and despersonalization. I remember crying and looking at the roof alone in the dark while hearing this song almost every night, It felt like nothing was real and I felt so identified with the lyrics that I couldn't love more the song. I truly believe it carried me through those hard days. Now I'm 16 years old and a lot of things have changed. I've been hearing this song often through these years, and I've never been able to hear it without crying and remembering all I've been through. I still relate to the lyrics, and it always cuts deep into my wounds, yet it feels like a hug, and I always come back when I need comfort. No one will ever understand how thankful I am to have discovered this song. And I'm still waiting for the day when things are better, so I'll finally be able to hear this song again but without crying.
